If you are not in recession, you might fancy a brand new scarf.

Site Lookout: LOOKBOOK.nu

lookbook.nu will definitely satisfy anyone's craze for current trends and streetwear. I'm actually going nuts over the pass few months looking at multiple leggings, skinnies, scarves, bowler caps, sunglasses, necklaces, blazers, trenchcoats, and vintage bags. It might not exactly be sartorialist-ish, but I'm sure if you're a designer, you'll be able to relate. Fashion is kinda our next best friend.

PLUS POINT: Tons of pretty girls in pretty outfits. :D

I've always been a big fan of the house daviddavid. It is simply visually orgasmic to put on one of their garments, and parade down the streets to know everyone is thinking how insane (in both good and bad ways) you look. Just that my poor student pockets are unable to suffice such a load, I'll just stick to bringing you what truly is the birthchild of graphic design and fashion - new age tees!
And all us teenagers scream!

Christophe Lemaire
Labels: fashion
Having worked for Yves Saint Laurent and then Christian Lacroix, currently creative director of Lacoste plus an ex-DJ at Paris clubs, Christophe Lemaire's new label Lemaire brings out the roaming freedom of music, ever the inspiration.
Colours armed with subtle aggression, piano keys too cool for long fingers, a belt buckle and graphics on sweaters- think, the flying v. Music is more stylish than you think it is.
While Lacoste has his body, check out Lamaire's soul at work here.
"It's what Siouxsie Sioux and Ian Curtis would wear in Hawaii."
Marilyn Minter
I honestly do not believe that there is anyone out there who does not own a t-shirt. The most convenient clothing is not just comfy but a canvas to many. Including your favourite threadless, uniqlo, graniph etc. Be it shameless self-expression or subtle poetry, designing a t-shirt frees you to get away without an explanation. We like it even more when ts come limited and affordable. This is Gap in collaboration with the Whitney Museum. Purchase
This is my favourite design by current hotshot billboard hogging artist Marilyn Minter. Her photographs exudes the power of an art installation you would see at the biennale.
"It's in the moment when everything goes wrong," she says. "It's when the model sweats. There's lipstick on teeth and the makeup's running."
Knock yourselves out. Best when dirty.
