iPhone app developer Takayuki Fukatsu (TiltShift Generator, Toy Camera) has helped produce a new project that brings together a print book and an iPhone, in a hybrid they call PhoneBook. (I know, I know..)

Atelierdorp is located in an abandoned church in the city of Eindhoven. Founded 3 years ago by Otje Bastiaanse, Hilbert Tjalkens, Djim Berger, Rocco Verdult and Vera Teunen with the aim to offer space for designers to grow. Over the years the church has developed into more then just simply a space for designers, it has evolved into a design family where people get a chance to explore their true creative potential. Currently designers in the church are working new works for Droog Design, Rossana Orlandi, Art Basel, ICFF and the Salone di Mobile in Milan amongst others. People like Bas van Raay, Nacho Carbonell, Julien Carretero, Ontwerpduo, Djim Berger, Joni Neelen, Veronique Lorne, Vera Teunen, Hilbert Tjalkens are proud to call it their working home. Blackbird Guitars: Blackbird Riderr

Once in awhile, I like to look through a list of product design jaw-droppers. Though I'm sure guitars of various odd shapes and sizes have already shown up in the music industry, still I couldn't help but be amazed at the aesthetics of the blackbird. There is something stunning about the way its front matte black body is in total perfect contrast to the glossy back, how it is almost 40% smaller than most normal classical guitars, and of course how it would sit beautifully in any design studio as a work of art in itself.
I can't help but feel a little finger-itchy this holiday season. :)

The new macbooks are out! Though from the apple website they do need some getting use to, I have been assured they look more gorgeous in real life than what we see it in value. Besides, so much engineering has gone into the process of these notebooks, it has been deemed one of the most advanced products Apple has ever created. Labels: product
The most unique thing about these machines is the unibody - the entire case of the macbook's body - has been milled from a single solid piece of aluminum. These third gen macbook pros are really getting my hands itchy.
