Sovereignty

Matthew 6:25 - 27

Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life

Hmm... a weird comment given on yesterday's post. I actually read it, and somehow it feels like reading the Business section of straits times. Welp, I don't actually find anything to do with 'stocks, business, pte. ltd, investment' etc interesting. But what mentioned in the comment below - that's a pretty good technology huh? Allowing permission for access to confidential premises/files just by scanning your face. Do they take account plastic surgery? I mean you can make yourself look like someone else...

Whatever that was, it sounded ripped from some bogus email. Those kind of emails you get talking about business deals, investment, money-making at home, enlarging penises, naked girls and so on. They're all either targeted at lazy people, or horny bastards.

Now, what was gonna say? Ahhh riiight. Purple Gold.

If you check out Channel 5 these days, you would notice they have this new Lee Hwa advertisment that's on er....Purple Gold. You know, the commercial with blue grass, purple bamboo and stuff? If you still don't know which one I'm talking about, it's the one where the model holds her breast, and it has very disturbing background music.

'Ehhhh... ahhh ehh... ahhh ehhh...'

That one. But the model is hot la, she's.. well er, quite flat, but she's got a beautiful face.

Firstly, what the hell is purple gold? Gold is gold because it's golden colour, and by saying purple gold, is as good as saying purple metal... since the golden colour isn't left there to deem it to be gold anymore, you can just take some aluminium and colour it purple and say it's purple gold.... get me? For example, you won't call a man that looks exactly like a woman a womanly man... there's a whole new word for that - tranny.

Lee Hwa has crap jewellery.

And I still don't understand why the jewellery market is in uproar, since there is nothing nice about diamonds, sapphires, rubies and all. I mean, there is no practical use for these stuff.. and seriously I don't think women wear half of their jewellry on a regular basis. Why spend so much on something so small that is only visible when there's light? It's not like you're hanging a flashlight above your face 24/7 la...

All the peeps who are gonna get Purple Gold, are just going to cheat themselves. It's the pursuit for individuality, uniqueness, attention, breaking-out-of-the-crowd that makes strange, new things that break out of the ordinary trend so appealing to us. So then again, what satisfaction is there when you attain individuality? God gave us all the uniqueness we need. If you think about it, isn't pursuing individuality just human beings impressing other human beings, getting caught in a cycle of conformation. The latest trend now, is to look out-of-trend.

Very soon we'll have people wearing red silver, or blue rubies.
