Birthdays

Hmm, nice way to start tonight. There's a "Ge Tai" at the field below tonight... you know the chinese/cantonese/hokkien singing concert thing? It happens only during the Chinese 7th Month. Bah, anyway... it'll blow over by 11 tonight.

Marco, SH, and I celebrated out birthdays bout two days ago... cause our birthdays were all during the intensive prelim/o-level period... and so it was better to get it over with and stuff. It's not very simple to plan and celebrate 3 birthdays. Namely, you have to get presents.. And the three of us had to collaborate with each other to get our presents. You know, like Shan Hui and I had to come about getting Marco's present, then he and Marco for mine. It was a huge, confusing cycle... lol, and I don't think we'll be willing to celebrate our birthdays together again.. haha.

We decided to watch a movie on Thursday, since it was a holiday.. and somehow, the outing got out to the masses. And soon, it sortof became a mini-ex 3ST outing, there were 9 people from 3ST 2004 altogether... woah.

And for this sake, I've especially added pictures of this 'memorable' event.

So we met at City hall station. Actually, I was already anticipating the gift-exchange process later on that night.. haha. We were all waiting for Bertrand. He was the one who smsed he wanted to come an hour before we met.. I guess Fabian invited him. That's alright, cause we all mingled about anyway... it takes time to strengthen social ethnics!

I seriously cannot stand Lai's shirt. Official Turkey Taster? It sounds homogenic.... Eugene's giving me The Face... lol.. must've taken too many pics already. But just for some archiving, the fat orange guy is our beloved Fabian. Marco's showing him some stuff... wait. I think Fabian was the one who bugged Marco to show him his phone. Fabian's just exceptionally friendly sometimes.

Beautiful? LOL. It's some badly vandalised poster along the way to Marina Square. She looks like Maria Sharapova huh? Doesn't she? Eugene agrees with me.. Poor Maria.... absolutely tarnished under the name of cheeky humanity. Well, I didn't like her that much... she makes too much orgasmic sounds when she plays tennis.

After watching Red Eye, we went Burger King cause Carl's Junior was packed. I thought Red Eye was pretty interesting.. it's a low-budget film, and that was pretty good for something that low budget. Rachel McAdams is getting hotter... her acting rocks! And to think Hollywood is only giving her extra roles. If you don't know who she is, she acted Regina George in Mean Girls. Yeah! That would probably ring a bell to most peeps. But then again, I'm one of the few that go crazy with Mean Girls.

3 girls + Lindsay Lohan is not very... er.. well resistable. I make it sound like a porn movie don't I? Lol..

Darrell and I got a full bottle of Diet Coke for the movie.. cause it was just $1! But it tasted pretty horrible... haha..so we didn't drink much of it - there it is with us at BK. It's quite amazing I didn't feel like peeing halfway through the show... I usually run for the toilet by the time the credits roll. I think I'm finally having bladder control. Anyway, there are the birthday boys are behind Mr. Diet Coke...

What's Fabian doing!?!?! Obviously working on his 'usual routine'. Hahahaaa...

I have a feeling Darrell is waiting for me to snap a picture so he can look up and smile. I have a few photos of him doing that already. And FYI, he didn't order the Turkey BBQ Burger. SH doing some stunt there, and look! It's Mr. Diet Coke again...

There's us... and I'm there with Mr. Diet Coke. I didn't get to finish my meal. Too much chips during the movie. But heyah!! Here's a photo to end the day.

In the end we did pass our gifts to each other. And I got new goggles... haha. That caught be off guard. But it was a good gift, and I'm quite happy cause it'll mean I don't have to keep rubbing off the fog on my old goggles! It's shiny, like Tong Liang's... hmmm... looks rather Ultraman-ish. Marco got our 4 shirts... (HE HAD A PINK ONE!! hehh..) and Shan Hui the Capsule Clock and a green shirt. Haha... green again, think he's getting a bad experience with gree shirts as gifts. But at least this time the green wasn't that bright.
