Trusting The Intangible

Watched a sermon dvd from Hillsong's encounter fest 2005 last night with the worship ministry. At Guan Wen's place. I must say his house is HUGE la.. much bigger than Hooper's twin-penthouses. Walking inside is like walking into the lobby of an Indonesian hotel. It's a stunning place.

I really got to know alot more about some people from the worship ministry. Their backgrounds, their history, and their experiences. There's alot you can't tell from a person, until you really try and understand him/her. You can't make friends and the next day Wham! you know everything about them, down to the size of their very last toe. Things take time. And I must admit I don't know anyone of them well la.. haha. There are many, many different personalities just in our ministry. This difference, is something I've yet to come to know.

The sermon was good, the pastor was a very engaging person. Haha. Does anyone know his name? Cause I didn't catch that bit. Jesselene, Lisa and I were late when the DVD was played... (looong story). Lol...

Chris asked a really good question.

How much do you trust God?

Haha, that might sound simple. But the real answer is most of the time unexplainable. Trust can be anything you know. It's hard to say you're fully commited in sacrificing your life to someone else. Someone whose of higher accord than you. To some extent, we always want to take hold of our own lives, dreams, and destinys. So how much do I trust God with?

I seriously don't know myself. I guess it's those kind of questions where you have different answers at different points in your life. I don't think I can say I can fully let go of everything I'm trying to control. Right at this instance.

Wow, finally an emo post. Kinda miss this kind of blogposts.
